We are adding our voice to that of the public authorities to help fight the current pandemic. We understand that everyone is facing a new set of challenges, especially if you or your loved ones are affected by the virus. Our hearts go out to you and your families, and we are paying close attention to the health and safety of our clients, our employees and the professionals practicing in our clinics. Therefore, following the recommendations of the Canadian and Quebec governments, we have taken several measures:
Continuation of essential hearing aid services in certain clinics and free delivery of cleaning products and batteries
We are maintaining essential (emergency) services, on appointement, in some clinics to help people who may be isolated or made vulnerable by broken hearing aids. We are also pleased to deliver batteries, wax filters and maintenance products at no extra cost. Please call 1-866-411-5623 to have your call redirected to the nearest open clinic where you can place your order or consult this list. In order to limit your travel as much as possible, we encourage you to have your products delivered and phone us before visiting a clinic.
Temporary suspension of services provided by ENT doctors and audiologists
We have temporarily suspended the services offered by ENT doctors and audiologists in the majority of our clinics. This will help prevent the spread of COVID-19; protect the health of our clients, employees and the professionals practicing in our clinics; and allow ENT doctors and audiologists to redirect their efforts towards hospitals.
Clearly, the situation is changing rapidly. We have established a dedicated management unit to monitor the situation closely, ensure that our remaining services run smoothly and communicate guidelines to our clients and everyone in our network. This is a truly exceptional situation and the true scope of the crisis remains unknown. We would like to reiterate our support for the public authorities and the people in our network and stress how much we value the relationship of trust we have with our clients. Rest assured that we are doing our part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
